Salvatore’s Prime Sandwiches Now Open in College Park, Orlando

A local favorite has found a new home right in the heart of College Park. Salvatore’s Prime Sandwiches, known for their stacked, high-quality sandwiches, just opened their newest location at 1520 Edgewater Dr, Suite J — I met with the owner Robert, and he couldn’t be more excited to bring his shop to the neighborhood he’s called home for over 15 years.

From Sanford to College Park

Salvatore’s first opened back in February 2020 inside Henry’s Depot in Sanford. And just one month later — COVID hit.

While many restaurants struggled or shut down during those early days, Robert pushed through the tough times and built something special. Over the next five years, Salvatore’s became a go-to spot for locals and visitors in Sanford.

When the space in College Park became available, Robert knew it was time. Not only does he live here, but he’s raised his kids here too — so bringing Salvatore’s to his own community just made sense. And, as he joked, “no more I-4 driving.”
